The soft glow of the room wraps around them as a mother and daughter sit side by side at the table, completely lost in a world of tiny puzzle pieces and quiet laughter. Between them, hundreds of colorful pieces are scattered across the table, some face-up and waiting to be discovered, others turned over as they search for that one perfect match.
Their matching mugs sit within reach, sending delicate curls of steam into the air. Every time one of them finds a piece that fits, there's that little spark of excitement—the quick smile, the delighted "I found it!", and the other leaning closer to see. Their shoulders nearly touch as they work together, sometimes searching, sometimes guessing, and sometimes simply enjoying being together.
The daughter carefully holds up a piece, studying its colors and shape while her mom watches with an amused smile. Their hands occasionally meet as they reach for the same piece, followed by a laugh that fills the room. The warm scent of coffee, the gentle clink of mugs against the table, the soft rustle of puzzle pieces moving beneath their fingertips—it's the kind of ordinary moment that somehow becomes unforgettable.

Why I Started Puzzled Coffee
I wanted something more original than the mass-produced, AI-made puzzles that seem to be everywhere. I love puzzles, and I love making mugs—but I also wanted my designs to feel real and made with care.
My mug and puzzle artwork starts with drawing ideas by hand. Then I take photos that capture everyday local moments and color inspiration—those little sights and tones help shape the final look of each design. That's how these pieces stay personal, creative, and connected to the kind of community I love.
